The ACT government has argued that the federal parliamanet has failed to outlaw same-sex marriages in a submission to the High Court of Australia. The ACT Legislative Assembly passed Australia’s first same-sex marriage law in October. This prompted a High Court challenge by the federal government. (Read More)
